Digital Notebooks AKA HyperBook
Learn how to use a Digital Interactive Notebook (HyperBook) in your class!
Studies show that students learn well by keeping and maintaining a notebook with all their work. The problem? It's messy and the work gets misplaced or worse, lost. This session will show how to take this notebook and turn it digital. Not to mention easier grading on the teacher end! No more packets!

Basic knowledge of google slides helpful. Participants will walk away with templates and resources to make their own.

Inquiry with Seesaw
This session is for K-6 teachers who want to spark wonder and curiosity in their students. Go beyond the Seesaw basics in your K-6 classroom! Seesaw can be especially powerful with inquiry because students can easily navigate the icons to upload digital drawings, audio clips, notes, video, images, and files. Since Seesaw is a digital portfolio, it can capture daily learning and inquiry processes. It makes it super simple to share curiosities formed during provocation exploration and whole-group brainstorms. Images and video of learning (in action) are great artifacts of the inquiry process, so if parents are invited to join your Seesaw class, they can also join in on the inquiry journey of your students. bit.ly/k6inquiry

Digital Lesson Planning with Google Slides
Placing your daily lesson plans in a Google Slide deck can help your day flow more smoothly. It can help organize key pieces from learning from links, text, rubrics, photographs, video clips, etc. The flow of learning can continue even with those invariable sidetracks that happen to all of us. We will take time to create a plan for a lesson, for Monday, or for the whole week ahead of you.

You should already be comfortable with creating and editing simple slide decks in order to get the most out of this session.
